Named after the town Aleppo in northern Syria. Pods has a moderate heat level with some fruitiness mild, cumin-like undertones.
Primarily used as a dried and coarsely ground spice.

Hinkle Hatz

An old and rare Pennsylvania Dutch pepper variety. The peppers are 1 inch long by 3/4 inch wide.

Primarily used for pickling and making hot sauce.

This very rare, bright red chile makes a colorful addition to sauces and soups. A slightly sweet, slightly hot chile. Pendent 2 1/2 by 1/2 inch tapering fruit with thin flesh.

The word mirasol in Spanish means looking at the sun.. The chile produces clusters of 3 - 4 inch long erect fruit point to the sun.
Used as an ornamental on wreaths, fresh and a ground powder in cooking.
